How to Install an Apple Watch Band
Changing your Apple Watch band is a simple and fun way to switch up your style for different occasions. Here's a detailed guide to correctly installing your watch band, making the process easy for you.
Preparation
1. Confirm your Apple Watch model and size
•Apple Watch case sizes are mainly 38/40/41/42mm and 44/45/46/49mm. Please ensure that the chosen band matches your watch size.
2.Prepare a clean work environment
•Work on a soft cloth or silicone mat to avoid scratching the watch or band.
Removing the Existing Band
1.Locate the band release buttons
•On the back of the Apple Watch, near the band connectors, you'll see two small buttons, one for each side of the band.
2.Press and hold the release button and slide the band out
•Press and hold the button on one side while gently sliding the band out. If it doesn't slide, slightly adjust the button's position and try again.
3.Repeat to remove the band from the other side
•Ensure both bands are removed smoothly to avoid applying excessive force.
Installing the New Band
1.Confirm band orientation
•Apple Watch bands typically come in two sections: the shorter section is installed on the upper side of the watch (facing the back of your hand), and the longer section is installed on the lower side of the watch (facing the inside of your wrist). For integrated bands, it's recommended to insert both connectors into the slots simultaneously.

2.Note the spring buckle design
•New watch bands usually have a spring buckle mechanism in the middle. When installing, you need to press the spring buckle to slide it smoothly into the Apple Watch's band slot.
• For Apple Watch Ultra, due to the sharper design of the connector, please handle with care to avoid scratching or damaging the surface of the spring buckle.
3.Slide in the band
•While pressing the spring buckle, align the band with the case's slot and gently slide it until you hear a "click" or feel it lock into place.

•Repeat for the other side of the band.
4.Check for security
•Once installed, gently pull the band to ensure it's secure and won't come loose during wear.
Notes
•Check for security: After installation, gently wiggle the band to confirm it's securely attached, preventing it from coming loose during use.
•Maintain consistent direction: When installing, pay attention to the front and back of the band. The way to distinguish them is that the three black dots on the connector face outwards, while the inward-facing ones are silver metal dots.
•Maintenance tips: For stainless steel metal materials, you can clean them with neutral soap.
