- It is not recommended to use alcohol, bleach, strong detergents, or chemical solvents for cleaning.
- Avoid prolonged contact with dark denim, dyed leather, or materials that easily transfer color.
- Avoid prolonged friction between the leather surface and keys, coins, or sharp objects.
- Before using MagSafe accessories, please ensure that the case and accessory surfaces are free of dust or foreign objects.
- Wear and tear, discoloration, scratches, or peeling of the leather material due to daily use are considered normal signs of use.
Warranty and Returns
UNIU products come with a one-year limited warranty, which covers functional defects or structural flaws not caused by human factors.
The warranty does not cover the following situations:
- Scratches, wear and tear, fading, or cosmetic marks resulting from normal use.
- Damage caused by human factors such as impact, drops, pulling, or squeezing.
- Damage caused by contact with seawater, hot springs, chemical detergents, or improper cleaning.
- Disassembly, modification, or use in a non-standard manner.
- Purchases made through non-official UNIU channels where proof of purchase cannot be provided.
The 7-day appreciation period only applies to purchases made online through the UNIU official website. The product must be in its original packaging, with all accessories, and show no signs of significant use. The 7-day appreciation period does not apply to purchases made at physical stores.
FAQ
Q1: Can it be disinfected with alcohol?
Do not wipe with alcohol. Alcohol is a very irritating liquid and may damage the leather surface.
Q2: Will it stain?
Yes. Any light color carries a risk of staining. The daily anti-dirt effect cannot prevent oily pens, permanent markers, and dye transfer from clothing, which are common problems. Therefore, please try to avoid contact during use, as it may be impossible to restore.
Q3: Will gray and purple fade and turn black?
Through our tests, light colors such as gray/purple are not easily soiled even after a year of use, nor will they fade or lose color. We highly recommend our new leather technology, SANSA.
Q4: How strong is the MagSafe magnet?
Built-in Apple MagSafe standard magnets, the magnetic effect is consistent with the original factory's defined standard.
Q5: It looks thin, is it drop-proof?
Tested drop height up to 1.6 meters on a flat floor. However, users who frequently drop their phones are advised to purchase a drop-proof case. Leather products are not resistant to drops. Please refer to our Purchase Advice.
Q6: Does the leather need maintenance?
No maintenance is needed at all. If it gets dirty, it is recommended to wipe it with clean water and a clean cloth.
Q7: Will it peel if dropped on the floor?
Yes. If the floor is uneven, peeling is very likely. Leather is not a drop-resistant material and is suitable for people who take good care of their phones.
Q8: What does scratch-resistant mean?
SENSA's scratch resistance is superior to ordinary genuine leather and ordinary synthetic leather, but it still has limits. Please do not intentionally pinch or pick at the leather, as this will leave marks you dislike.
Q9: Will the metal paint chip?
The buttons and camera frame are anodized aluminum alloy. The original color of the metal is silver. Just like a phone, scratches and wear will expose the silver. Be careful when using it to avoid contact with hard objects (such as stones, keys, coins, rings, etc.).
